Geographic Variability in the Incidence of Coral and Octocoral Diseases in the Wider Caribbean

By testing 19 different coral reef sites, the scientist involved attempted to characterize the diseases and syndromes found across the wider Caribbean. They associated the decline in reef health to the evolving diseases in syndromes commonly found in the Caribbean environment. This source supports my thesis in that it give another aspect to the deterioration of coral reefs by natural forces.
